MWATANGULIZA YANGU MBELE YENU MTASEMA LINI

This kanga has been around for a few years. I have often seen it being worn around Moshi. The design has a lot going on. I am not sure if the picture in the middle is just a generic building or if it depicts a specific one. I have asked a few Tanzanians and they do not recognize it either. If anyone recognized the building or understands the significance – please let us know! The building is surrounded by grapes, which are indeed grown in Tanzania – but not widely. And then in the border there are more grape leaves a long with traditional instruments – drums and thumb pianos.
