KUOMBA KHERI KWETU NI FAHARI

I bought this Nida kanga in Moshi in April. I like the red polka dots in the border and the big flowers! I am not too sure about the translation – the word fahari can mean the word “pride,” but also can be negative, as in “ostentatious,” so I am not sure how it is meant here. Or maybe it is purposely ambiguous (not unusual for a kanga saying).  If anyone can help, please comment!
